Welcome

The Global Ecology Group conducts research on ecosystem dynamics, drivers, and feedbacks at various spatial and temporal scales. Specifically, our research interests include terrestrial carbon cycle, vegetation dynamics, land cover/land use change, disturbances, and human-environment interactions. We combine remote sensing, ecological modeling, field measurements, model-data fusion, and statistical analysis to address important science issues.

Prospective graduate students/post-docs (and visiting scholars):

Our group may have positions open for graduate students or post-docs in areas such as carbon cycle, ecosystem modeling, remote sensing, data assimilation, and flux upscaling. Please contact me if you are interested. We also consider hosting exchange students or visiting scholars with similar or complementary expertise and research interests.
